We look for well-made, distinctive products worth bringing across borders — Japanese goods for the US market, and international goods for the Japanese market.
Before committing to direct import, we validate real demand through two companion content properties on HAL Notes: Japan Finds (Japanese products for US buyers) and 世界の掘り出し物 (international products for Japanese buyers).
As demand is proven out on either side, we're building toward direct sourcing relationships and distribution — Japanese manufacturers into the US, and international brands into Japan.
