Trader-M, LLC is an early-stage cross-border sourcing practice, connecting Japan and the US in both directions — well-made Japanese products for US buyers, and distinctive international products for Japanese buyers. Right now, that means the concept and market-testing phase — there's no live import or distribution operation yet.

How we're starting. We're using two companion content properties on HAL Notes to research and test demand: Japan Finds, surfacing promising Japanese products for a US audience, and 世界の掘り出し物 (World Finds), surfacing international products for a Japanese audience — before committing to direct sourcing relationships in either direction.

Where we're headed. As demand gets validated on either side, we plan to build toward direct sourcing relationships and distribution — Japanese manufacturers into the US, and international brands into Japan.
